in Singapore, healthcare workers rarely if ever contract covid19 at work. In Melbourne thousands caught it at work, causing aged care facilities and hospitals to close and many more workers to be furloughed.


That SARS 1 experienced countries like Singapore have a higher PPE standard than Australia is probably related to lack of spread at work. Any sentient being who has worked in a front line clinical role would want a precautionary approach until the unlikely event we are convinced the spread has NOTHING to do with a resource oriented budget PPE standard.
