We should always defend doctors & other HCW’s right to not be pushed into unsafe practice, esp when little PPE. If patients have a safer accessible alternative, it must be used first.

Trainee doctors don’t want you, or themselves, to die on covid front line. They should be starting their careers fighting with the right masks & gowns & prep – pls buy them some TIME by going to lock down soon & test test test. Haircuts can wait. Tick tock.

Today’s media conference : reduce number of cases, test, prepare. Clear govt strategy & communication might stop strangers from abusing me on the street… Let’s be more Canada than New York. Cruise ships contain humans. Lock it down, test test test in private pathology.

Frontline news : from Canada, where docs get tested in 5 mins, texted result in a few hours, vs Perth GP who still can’t get staff tested tho the Health Dept says they can. I reckon the GP is telling the truth. Can’t implement = system failed.

Why does WA not test in private to increase capacity so we can be like Queensland who have tested more
